Who knows where it will end but for now Charlie Austin just keeps on breaking records as another goal from the striker supreme made it a hat-trick of home wins for the revitalised Clarets.
A trademark Austin header in the 82nd minute gave new manager Sean Dyche his second victory in the space of four perfect days. And in doing so, the 23-year-old became the fastest player in Burnley history to reach 20 goals as he notched for the sixth home game running. But if Austin was the match winner, he would be quick to share the praise with his team-mates who again showed a collective desire to become only the second team in 11 games to beat a Leeds side who have become the division’s draw specialists.
