Vintage Clarets take on the Germans !

The Vintage Clarets will be representing Burnley Football Club in the 35th Annual Football International Veterans Tournament to be held at Hamm, Germany over the weekend of 26 - 28 May. Other teams represented are the German side Hertha Berlin, Bradford City and Dutch side VV Ostrabeke.

The Burnley Team will include Burnley legends John Francis and Roger Eli, as well as Peter Mumby, Liam Robinson, Junior Bent, Chris Brass, Robbie Painter and John Mullin.   They will play a minimum of four games in a league format before the top two teams move forward in to a mini cup competition, which all concludes on Sunday, May 28.
