Burnley boss Eddie Howe is planning new arrivals and confirmation that the Clarets remain a work in progress came with a first defeat of the season at Selhurst Park.
Away form has been the Clarets' Achilles heel for a couple of years and they were unable to make swift amends as an early Palace goal and a second-half penalty sent Howe's men away from the capital empty handed. Burnley had their moments and had Wade Elliott been awarded the penalty he seemingly should have been just after the break things might have been different.
