The non-league newspaper fair play award has this year been awarded to Barnet Chief Excecutive Andrew Adie. Barnet chairman Tony Kleanthous presented the award to Adie after his swift action in reporting an incident ivolving Barnet in the FA trophy to the FA. The incident, which lead to Barnets expulsion from the competition, involved the game against Dover Athletic when the bees accidently fielded Adam Campion when he had played for Aylesbury in a previous round.

Adie took the blame and offered his resignation, which was refused by The Chairman and Directors.

The paper felt his actions in reporting the incident as soon as the mistake had been realized was worthy of an award.
