Bees boss Paul Fairclough has held talks with former Lincoln city Midfielder Ben Sedgemore this week after losing out on Telford united's Sam Ricketts and Yeovil winger Nicky Crittenden. Signings need to be made with the current squad size at 15. Free agent and former Lincoln city Midfielder and captain Ben Sedgemore, who was released by Lincoln city is in talks with the club. Speaking on the Lincoln official site Sedgemore said "Ideally, I would like to stay in the league but if it means dropping down I will do. Within half an hour of being released I had received an offer from another club."

However the club have missede out on Telfor United's Sam Ricketts and Yeovil's Nicky Crittenden. Rickets, whos has played for England under Fairclough has opted for a chance in the Football league with Swansea City whilst Crittenden, once with chelsea has signed for Aldershot because it is near his home rather than travel around the M25 to Barnet.
