Ian McCalls Bottom of the league Dundee United side went to hibs today hoping to lift themselvs from the foot of the sottish premeier league table A 69th-minute Jim McIntyre goal gave Dundee United a point at Hibs and lifted the Tannadice men off the bottom of the SPL.

The Edinburgh men had led for most of the match after striker Thomas McManus had got them off to a dream start after two minutes.

There seemed no real danger for the home side until McIntyre headed home from close range - and ragged Hibs were left holding on for their first league point in six games.
