Udinese and Lecce move in on Everton Target

Udinese and Lecce are planning to swoop down and capture Kristján Ari Halldórsson from under the noses of Premership club Everton. The 17 year old who plays in Iceland is fast becoming one of the hottest young properties around. And Everton had thought they had a clear run at a player they have had watched on and off for months now. But both Lecce and Udinese have been watching too and have confirmed that they will be sending scouts to the first game of the season.

However Everton may have an unlikely advantage in the shape of Eidur Gudjohnsen of Chelsea, who is the young mans hero, and in who's footsteps he wants to follow, i.e. a trip to the premership.
