Football League Announce Coca Cola Deal!

This means that Coca-Cola will begin to sponsor Divisions One, Two and Three from the start of the 2004/05 season.

The Football League have been looking at ways to make the competition more attractive, trying to reduce the gap with the Premiership.

League chairman Sir Brian Mahwhinney, believes that this new deal with Coca Cola can only benefit the clubs.

He told BBC Football: "This new agreement is good news and provides a tremendous boost for League clubs.

"This just demonstrates the enduring appeal of our competition and it'll contribute significantly to the proposed re-branding of the League."
