Bournemouth's James Hayter scored the fastest hat-trick in Football League history - two minutes and 20 seconds.

Claus Jorgensen set up Stephen Purches to score, and Warren Cummings netted before Wrexham's Stephen Roberts was sent off for a professional foul which didn't help the cause.

Warren Feeney got the third and Hayter headed home the fourth from Brian Stock's right-wing cross.

Yet again, Hayter scored, this time on 88 minutes and pounced to complete his treble after Cummings' 40-yard punt upfield.

So not a good game for Wrexham, and especially the fans who travelled all the way. The players had a long journey home to think about what was done and let's hope they get 3 points and a damn good performance against Rushden and Diamonds at the Racecourse this weekend.

Do we need to get a loan-signing or two? We have a small squad, and although did superb with what we have got, expectations have increased over the season and not getting into the play-offs would be a disappointment as we have come so far.
