Walsall boss Colin Lee is to offer keeper Marcus Hahnemann a contract after he impressed during his trial at the Bescot. The US international was released by Fulham in the summer after struggling to break into the team at Craven Cottage.
Lee spoke of the planned offer to the Birmingham Post. "I will be talking to Marcus' agent and will be presenting an offer to him. It remains to be seen if he accepts the offer or if we can afford him.
"If the offer is rejected then we will have to turn our attention elsewhere."
