Bradford City have gone into administartion following a high court ruling granting the appointment of an official to manage the troubled club. The writing was on the wall last week when Bradford's shares were suspended.

The news that Benito Carbone's move to Middlesborough had fallen through doubled with the ITV Digital fiasco suggested that Bradford would struggle. The Italian is on a wage rumoured to £42,000 a week! Or if you prefer £2,184,000 a year.

Bradford chairman, Geoffrey Richmond gave hope to the fans by saying that administrators predicted a fast sale of the club.

Bradford are not the first club and won't be the last especially with the game been in a fragile state. We are A Funny Old Game say enough is enough. The game is in chaos and its up to certain groups to help the game in its most desperate time.

The FA - Just announced a major partnership deal with Carlsberg. Help us out, football doesn't start and finish in the Premier League.

PFA - Urge your members to take pay cuts. Its not a nice situation and if the players are offered huge amounts of money it is hard to resist. But £1000 is better over 4 years than £300O over 1 year. Over 1000 players will be out of work this summer, how many will it be next year?

The Government - The Culture Minister insists that no help will be offered to the Football Clubs in danger. Why? Nobody expects this to be deemed more important than the Transport system or the NHS but if the clubs go under so will so many communites. Whats more important, overpricing for a new National Stadium or the future of the nations game?
