Crewe's Efe Sodje books his plays on the right of defence for Nigeria while Steven Reid shows he won't let Ireland down.
Efe Sodje of Crewe Alexandra scored a winner in Nigeria's 2-1 win over Ireland when he rised above Roy Keane to head home. Efe Sodje has been a major part in Crewe's defence last seasonand with match winning performances in defence he and his team mate, Bankole(Goalkeeper) earned themselfs another chance for their country's and it seems they will be lining up for Nigeria in their group matches against England, Argentina and Sweden. On the other side, Ireland, Millwall's Steven Reid showed he wasn't a bad choice to replace Mark Kennedy for the World Cup. Steven Reid weas called up on Wednesday after Wolves' Mark Kennedy was ruled out of the World Cup due to a thigh strain, Reid scored Irelands only goal while they were 2-0 down as he fired home from long range.
