Norwich have re-signed Preston striker David Healy on loan to try and boost their play-off challenge.Healy had previously spent a month on loan at Norwich. Healy,a Northern Ireland international and ex Man United youngster,scored 1 goal in 5 games in his previous spell at the club and will look to build on that in his return.

Canaries boss Nigel Worthington is a big fan of Healy and said "Patience has paid off for us. We kept working to come to an agreement with Preston and we are delighted to bring him back to the club."

Norwich currently lie 10 points behind sixth placed Wolves after their narrow defeat to Portsmouth this week but they will hope the signing of Healy will give them a timely boost.
