Farrelly out of favour with Bolton boss Sam Allerdyce at the Reebok , was rumoured to be in last weeks reserve game for the Millers , but that was quickly laughed of by Ronnie Moore.

A club spokesman stated ""We played Sheffield United and he certainly didn't take part and he's not involved in this week's reserve game either."

"The player is not even on trial with us. He's just someone we're interested in."
