Izzet put in a transfer request back in September and has been on the list ever since , luckily for Leicester nothing concrete came in way of offers and he continued plying his trade at Walkers Stadium.

The Turkish midfielder has been instrumental in getting the East Midlands clubs results to guide them within three pionts of the leaders , and nine pionts clear of third place and undoubtable has scored the goal of the season so far this season an overhead kick away at Grimsby.

Izzet told the Foxes official site "It's great to come off the transfer list after all this time."

"I'm really enjoying my football at the moment and I went to see Micky Adams to ask him to remove my name from the list."

"Although I've been on the transfer list for some considerable time, I think everyone recognises I've continued to give 100 per cent to the cause."
