Wimbledon have secured the permanent services of Arsenal defender Ben Chorley until 2005. Ben Chorley has switched from North London to South London and signed a contract at the Dons until 2005.

The Don's have finally wrapped up the services of on loan Arsenal defender on a permanent basis.

Chorley has failed to break into Arsenals first team and followed the path out of Highbury just like Matthew Upson , the youngster 20 is very happy on the move and is looking forward to first team football.

Speaking to the official Dons site he said ""Wimbledon are an established first division club, and that's what I wanted."

"These next few seasons are going to be very important in my career. I need to start getting regular games and I want to make myself the first-choice centre-back at Wimbledon."

"I just want to push on now and show everyone here what I'm capable of. This move is a great step for me and I'm going to give everything for the club." he added
