Leicester boss Micky Adams is set to open talks over a new contract with the Walkers Stadium club. Micky Adams is set for contract talks with the Leicester's new chairman Jon Holmes , Adams has been on top form guiding Leicester to 2nd a few pionts away from leaders Pompey for a immediate return to the top flight.

Chairman Jon Holmes speaking to the Leicester mercury said "You always want to hang on to your best people and there is no doubt he has done a tremendous job under the difficult circumstances here."

"I hope we will be able to satisfy him that this will be a place he will enjoy working and satisfy some, if not all, of his ambitions."

Adams has been through a rough time during his Leicester stay , seeing the club go through a transfer emabargo and having his hands tied in getting new faces into the club.

Holmes continued "I hope he will have a good relationship with the people here and feel it will be a good place to work."

"We will be talking to him at the end of the season. I don't think he, or we, would want to be talking now when nothing is settled for the future."
