Ashley Ward has been told he will face the christmas period on the sidelines with ankle and knee injuries. Ashley has already been missing for 6 weeks and this latest set back will be a massive blow to himself and Bradford.

He will be missing until the new year or beyond it , Ward misses the cructial fixtures Watford(a), Stoke (h) Wolves & Grimsby (a)and maybe even the FA Cup 3rd round clash against West Brom.

Bradford have a little bit of breathing space away from the drop zone at the minute even though the league table doesnt show that , there 6 pionts away from the bottom but with lack of goals in there side of late and with key man Ward missing, they could find them selves very close after the xmas period.
