Millwall have re-signed midfielder Christophe Kinet after they released him in June. The left sided midfielder was half way through a trial with Wimbledon when Millwall requested talks re-open. Kinet, who never wanted to leave the club, jumped at the chance at cut short his trial with The Dons.
With Steven Reid out of an expected 4 weeks Millwall boss Mark McGhee opted to go with a face he knew well.
Kinet signed a one-year-deal at the club and looks set to go straight into the squad against Ipswich on Saturday.
Kinet told the clubs official site of his delight. "I am very happy to be back because I never wanted to leave Millwall.
"I hope to play on Saturday and I am looking forward to meeting up with the boys again and to seeing the fans.
"A few weeks ago I thought I had left Millwall for good and I said thank-you to the supporters who were always good to me here.
"Now I can't wait to play against Ipswich Town."
