Uhlenbeek signs for Bradford

Bradford have signed Gus Uhlenbeek on a one-year contract after the defender spent pre-season with the club on a no-contract basis. Uhlenbeek was out of favour at former club Sheffield United last season and was released in the summer after ending the season on-loan at Walsall.

With the financial crisis at Valley Parade, Bradford boss Nicky Law could not afford to offer Uhlenbeek a contract but with the situation getting better Uhlenbeek's loyalty has been rewarded.
