Gillingham have handed talented defender Nyron Nosworthy a new 2-year-deal at the club. The 21-year-old signed the contract before the fans at last nights game against Wimbledon, which The Gills won thanks to a Guy Ipoua goal.

This will now ease fears of Gills fans that Nosworthy will leave the club. A club spokesperson said: "He's a great player with a great attitude.

Fair play to Nyron, he has pledged his future to the club."

Nosworthy will be keen to continue on Gillingham so-far-so-good season stiting at the top of the table.
