Scarborough manager Russel Slade has admitted to having sleepless nights ahead of the club's biggest ever game, the FA Cup clash with Chelsea.
Scarborough manager Russel Slade, cannot realistically expect to get anything out of the game with giants Chelsea. Admitting to sleepless nights, you can tell he is detirmined to do his best.
Slade said: "I've woken up in the middle of the
night and watched videos and made notes.
"There are so many threats because they are a star-studded side full of
internationals.
"It's impossible to deal with it all and we know we have a massive task
ahead of us but we'll just do our best and hopefully perform to the best of our
abilities and you never know, we might just get a result."
He added: "I'm not going to fill them with too many
ideas. Obviously they need my lead and direction before they go out on the pitch
but my message will be simple and straight to the point.
"It's the biggest game in the club's history and I want everyone to look
forward to it.
"Southend was our semi-final and this is our final. Hopefully we'll come
out of the game with a lot of credit and with everybody having performed to the
best. That's the minimum we want to achieve."
