NEWCASTLE UNITED manager Sir Bobby Robson has dismissed reports that he is preparing to sell Nolberto Solano to Aston Villa when the transfer window opens in January.
Winger Solano has only just forced his way back into the first team after spending much of the season on the sidelines and Robson has issued a hands-off statement to any club who may be planning a January raid for the Perubian international.
"I haven't spoken to David O'Leary at all and no-one here has heard anything from anyone else at Villa," said Sir Bobby.
"I'm not looking to sell Nobby Solano anyway. He's a top-class player who is still very much in my plans. "Of course, every player has his price, but I fully expect Nobby to still be here in February."
However it is believed that should a offer in the region of £3million be made, we could be seeing Nobby depart St. James Park.
