SWEDISH star Niclas Alexandersson looks set to be on his way out of Goodison Park as two of his homeland clubs look to make an approach for the Everton midfielder.
Alexandersson's contract is up at the end of the season and with no chance of him being offered a new one he has no alternative but to leave. He was shipped out to West Ham earlier in the season and Moyes is looking forward to getting him of his wage bill so he can bring in some loan players or bargain signings in an attempt to save their faltering season.
"The best thing would be if Everton and another club could reach an agreement," said Alexandersoon. "Two clubs, IFK Gothenburg and OIS (Orgryte) have shown their interest to my agent. There have not been any negotiations or such things. In January, I will know more."
Several Everton players are nearing the end of their contract and any approaches for Steve Simonsen, Peter Clarke, Scot Gemmill and Paul Gerrard would be welcomed as it is unlikely they will be offered new deals.
Duncan Ferguson is also a player set for the chop. Moyes will be looking to sell the player, who is earning £35,000 per week, after their much publicised training ground bustup recently.
Ferguson has already rejected a loan move to Bradford but an approach by Glasgow Rangers is likely.
With Everton's severe financial difficulties, any fringe player has the right to be worried about the Goodison Park future as it appears that the club would not be in any position to refuse decent offers for them to ease their worries and their bank manager's complaining.
The one exception would be David Unsworth who has excelled recently at centre-half. The defender's contract expires in the summer and has already rejected a one-year extension.
The veteran wants a three-year deal but is likely to accept a compromise two-year deal despite establishing interest from Leeds United, Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers.
