Kidderminster Harriers travel to Lincoln tomorrow in the search of valuble points. In a busy week, the door at Aggboro hasnt stopped revolving with 3 new men in and 2 departures.

Welcome

Harriers signed three players on the transfer deadline. Simon Brown joins on loan from West Brom whilst Leon Clarke also joins on loan from Wolves. Both are youngsters who are on the fringe of the 1st team squad, with Clarke having made 3 appearances in cup games for Wolves this term. Hopefully they will make an impact during their short stay with us and we wish them luck.

The trio of new arrivals is completed by the returning Steve Burton, who signs up till the end of the season, after being released by Hull City. The young left back enjoyed a loan spell at Harriers earlier in the season. In fact, I think the fact that Burton has signed for us has enabled us to get in two loanees when it was understood that only one more was available. This will provide cover for Scott Stamps, who is only one booking away from suspension. Also Harriers youngster Chris Mc Hale has been promoted to the 1st team squad until the end of the season.

Goodbye

Harriers said farewell to two crowd favourites this week in Bo Henrisken and Danny Williams who both have signed for 3rd division rivals Bristol Rovers. Danny was of course on loan at Chester but now has signed for the Gas until the end of this season. The reason behind Danny’s departure was supposedly because he wanted to return to the North West but now has ended up in Bristol. Joining Danny at the Memorial Ground is Bo Henriksen, who has also left Harriers permanently and like Danny only signing to the end of this season. Bomber Bo has been a legend at Harriers and of course, last season banged in 20 goals. This term has been hugely disappointing for the Dane, who scored twice on the opening day but none since. Both were very popular with the fans and we wish them both well.

Lincoln next

Harriers travel to Lincoln tomorrow hoping to get back on track after last weeks defeat to Macclesfield. Defender Matt Gadsby is hoping to return after injury whilst Dean Keates is banned for the next 3 games after the awful reffing against Orient earnt him a red card.
