QUEEN'S PARK v ELGIN CITY
(Scottish League - Bells Division Three)

Saturday, 16th August, 2003 at Hampden Park - kick off : 3.00pm

Possible Spiders Line-Up

Derek Scrimgour
Damiano Agostini

Stevie Fallon

Stephen Moffat
Danny Ferry Ross Clark Johnny Whelan Stevie Reilly David McCallum
Ally Graham Frankie Carroll
Recent Form : With three of the other four games from last week's fixtures having all been drawn, Elgin's home win against hapless East Stirling takes the former Higland League side to the joint top of the table alongside Peterhead. Having invested heavily in their new West Of Scotland recruitment policy under the guidance of former Spider John Gallagher, Elgin will no doubt be looking to remain there to justify their additional expense. Queen's on the other hand came just seconds away from suffering defeat and can now approach this game on the basis that if they can win it, then they will be nicely positioned near the top of the table.
Likely Outcome : Unless Jamie White and Willie Martin turn out to be thorns in our flesh, Queen's should be capable of beating Elgin at home and hopefully they will give Kenny Brannigan his first home win, perhaps by 3-1.
