Dundee ended there poor form with a fine 2-0 victoy over 3rd place Livinston. With Berti Vogts at the match there sure would be a few players out to impress the new Scotland Manager including Dundee Players Gavin Rae, Barry Smith and Lee Wilkie but would they impress the new scotland Manager?

Livingston Defeated Again

Poor Discipline has cost Livingston 3 points which may have helped there side to gain there 3rd spot which they are aiming for.

Livingston's Players Massimiliano and Steve Tosh were Red Carded in a fiery match against us last night.  Livingston Manager Jim Leishman was also sent to the stand after trying to tell the assistant referee how angry he was.

Dundee took advantage of Massimiliano sending off when Juan Sara opened up the scoring shortly after.  Juan Sara also sealed the winner when he fired home his second of the night in injury time.

The first chance of the game fell to Temuri Ketsbia who hit a free kick just over the crossbar after 9 minutes after the free kick was laid off to him by Torres

Livingston's first chance was from Quino who hut the upright of the crossbar before the shot was finally cleared by Speroni.

Speroni was needed again at 24 minutes when he had to tip over a David Fernandez shot

In the 32nd minute Massimiliano appeared to raise his hand to Baghetto and referee John Rowbotham showed the player a Straight Red Card.

Jim Leishman was then giving some punishment for his protestations when he was ordered to the stand for his protests about the sending off.  Ivano Bonetti game Jim Leishman a friendly arm around his shoulder.

For a minute of the match Livingston fans were nearly screaming they had been cheated when David Fernandez was shown the red card for dissent after he argued over the direction of a free kick but John Rowbotham changed this card to Yellow after he had realised the mistake he had made.

Dundee made the extra man count in the 56th minute when Javier Artero flighted in a perfect cross to Juan Sara who then nodded this home for the opener which left Javier Sanchez Broto helpless.

Tosh who had came on for Stuart Lovell in 68th minute but 6 minutes after coming on he was sent off and Livingston were now down to 9 men.  Lovell had went in for a tackle with Ketsbia and showed his studs leaving Rowbotham no choice but to show another red card for the second time on the night.

Livingston nearly steeled a draw with three minutes left when a Barry Wilson free kick forced Speroni into a Superb save and Speroni then had to rush to block the rebound effort from Fernandez.

Dundee sealed the win in injury time when Ketsbia squared the ball into the path of Juan Sara who then fired home his second goal of the night.  Sending home the Dundee Fans happy and hoping for the impossible of a top 6 finish.
