Fan Zhiyi is set to extend his deal very shortly with the Chinese club he is with at the moment. Dundee have confirmed they would listen to Loan offers from Cosca for Fan Zhiyi.
Fan Zhiyi is set to stay with China side Cosco Shanghai after they revealed they would like to extend his current loan deal.
Dundee said today that Fan is keen to return to Scotland but also stated that Cosco are keen to keep him.
Fan joined Dundee in a transfer from Crystal Palace half way through last season but he only player a few games missing out with Suspension and injury. Fan then had to return to China to prepare with his country for the World Cup finals.
China were knocked out in the first round with Fan only playing one game due to injury. China didn't do too well but had a lot of promising stars. Cosco want to keep the tall defender for another few months though.
Fan still a member of Cosco until June 30th but he could still stay with Cosco for another few weeks as Dundees new campaign doesn't start until August 3rd. But Dundee may think that Fan will be tired out when he gets back and give him a well deserved break for them weeks.
A Dundee Spokesman said that Fans loan runs out at the end of the month and Dundee will sort things out and they will also discuss him extending his loan.
