Peter Marr yesterday indicated the way forward for Dundee. Here is as follows some of the highlights from the Interview. Will it be a good season for Dundee next season or Bad?
Peter Marr: The Way Forward
Peter Marr has indicated that if Dundee are to move forward they will have let go off some of the players in the first team now. I am still unsure whether these players Dundee will have to let go of are including the players who are out of contract at the end of the season. Though Jimmy Marr yesterday indicated that some of these players will be offered a new contract on the clubs terms and not on the players terms but if these contract's are accepted then they will be able to stay.
The only Player who will be offered a new contract with the agreements he wants is goal keeper Julian Speroni. Speroni will be able to tell Dundee what he wants and Dundee will give him it unless the young Argintinian wants to leave in this case Dundee will be due Compensation due to the young age of Julian Speroni. This compensation should be around £500,000 to £1,000,000 due to the great keeper in Julian Speroni and the amount of first team games he has had since joining Dundee.
Peter Marr also said that he will be playing youth in most of the games this season which should help Dundee's good youth Policy, instead of signing players willy nilly that we do not need like we've done in the past.
Peter mentioned that Ketsbia has been out with a bad injury but it was still brilliant to watch him last year but if Ketsbia wants a part of the team next year the 34 year old will have to come back to Dens once his injury has cleared up and prove his fitness and that he is worth a place in the Dundee team next season.
Peter said that Dundee's young Scottish players after next season could be like the good youth players coming through at Aberdeen.
