The SPL are considering changing the rule which has before stopped players going on loan to other Premier League sides.

Iain Blair the SPL director of administration spoke to the Sunday Herald and told them they were considering changing the policy after a number of suggestions from other club managers.

This would allow Dundee to loan out players to clubs such as Dunfermline/Hearts/Hibs gaining them valuable premier league experience instead of the way the rule is just now that only lets youth player go to lower league sides.

Hopefully this would help a lot of younger Dundee players who could possibly be getting valuable experience playing for a team such as Aberdeen and then be a better player in a season.

If Dundee were to do this though I would hope they would insist on a clause in the contract so that other premier league clubs couldn't play the player against you team.  Such as Steven Milne on loan to Hibs and playing against Dundee.  Hopefully this rule would be taking into consideration.
