The Portland Timbers after a loss at Rochester the night before come out stong with a win in Toronto moving them up to 3rd on the table.

The Portland Timbers came out strong tonight as they changed their starting line-up a bit. Paul Conway gets his first start of the season at forward with Scott Benedetti and Tom Polyl at the midfeild. Paul Conway hits the bar on his second touch of the match at the 4 minute mark. the Timbers continued to pressure and in 14th minute Scott Bennedetti gets taken down from behind in the box to set up a kick from the spot.
Dan Antonuik scores from the spot netting his 3rd goal of the season. The rest of the match was played even with both keepers ending the math with four saves each. Portland moves to 3rd in the table.
