WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers defender Paul Butler has emerged as a new potential target for Forest. He is one of a number of Wolves' players to be linked with us recently- and the fact that it has come from TeamTalk probably means you should take all with a pinch of salt. There's still hope, though.
Wolverhapton Wanderers' Paul Butler is yet another player from the Molineux club to be linked with Nottingham Forest. According to Team Talk (AKA Full of crap) he has only been offered a one year deal with the club- and the 31 year old would wish to stay at one club long enough to see out the remainder of his career there.
Apparently Leeds United manager Kevin Blackell is also trying to secure the services of the former Republic of Ireland international and that they are heading the chase.
Is Paul Butler the kind of "sexy signing" that Joe Kinenar promised pre-season, though? Hopefully he won't do a "Paul Hart" and leave it all too late.
