Nottingham Forest's Kris Commons is said to be flattered by the interest of Nottingham Forest. The player was born in Nottingham and would love to play his hometown club.

Goal scoring midfielder Kris Commons has been offered a contract by Nottingham Forest as well as the one he has been offered by Stoke. The player has stated that the contract ’The Potters’ have offered is not up to scratch.

 

He said: "Stoke have done things that have shown they are keen for me to stay, but there are some things they have not put in the contract that I have wanted.

"So I don't know if they are that keen for me to stay when there is always something left out.

"There are things that need to be talked about that I've asked for, but not got. I would like these things to be included."

 

Kris Commons was born in Nottingham- and it seems that he would jump at the chance to play for the club which he supported as a child.

 

He said: "I supported them as a youngster and played with them as a five or six-year-old. So I've been involved with them since I was young.

"They have always been a club I'd hoped to play for."

He added: "It is a very tempting offer, but Stoke have turned them down."
