It seems that York City's Lee Bullock will not be on his way Trentside join up with the Nottingham Forest squad. Cardiff City, who took him on loan last season, had a first refusal agreement with the club and they have decided to honour it.

"The lad is away on holiday, but the deal is on," confirmed Cardiff manager Lennie Lawrence.

At least we've still got Kris Commons coming in, who looks a decent prospect from Stoke City- but this is a major blow to Forest who are looking to strengthen their squad and build one worthy of mounting a promotion challenge.
