Darren Ward has proved himself in recent seasons to be a decent goalie capable of performing when needed too. 'Wardy' as he has been nicknamed by the fans, is a little shaky in the air, but makes up for this in the way he commands his area.

Ward is one of the top 'keepers outside of the top-flight and is a contender for the Welsh number-one shirt.
