Andy Impey has signed a contract with The Reds meaning he is now a City Ground player. The defender will hopefully become a key player for us. 'Hopefully' is becoming ForestFC's most used word.

Andy Impey has just been snapped up on a Bosman-inspired free transfer by super-manager Joe Kinnear!

The player could not contain his delight.

“Like a lot of players I am sure the future is very bright for Forest and I’m looking forward to being here again in August in a permanent deal. The lads are very optimistic about next season.”

Manager Joe Kinenar was also pleased with snapping the player up.

“Andy has proved himself a more than useful player for us and I was delighted to make his move permanent.

“You know what you are going to get from him and he showed his versatility when he slotted in at right back in the final games. We’re very pleased to have someone with his experience and ability on board again.”
