"It were like he's never left!" An old Nott'm Forest fan who lives up the street told me as I went to put the bin out and I remembered he doesn't have the net and so gave him the news- Rogers is to be given the number 3 shirt again!

The player has been given his old number 3 shirt back and he will be looking forward to once again knowing he holds a place in Forest fans hearts... but not in a gay way, unless you are gay (or a woman) and you do like him in which case- go for it!

“I couldn’t be happier. When I came back to the Club on loan in February I was hoping that it might lead to something permanent.
 
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being back here and in many ways it has been like returning home after spending so many happy times here before.

“Thing have gone very well on the field in the last three months and I genuinely believe the Club is heading for bigger things next season.

“There is a good feeling around the place and with new players coming in and David Johnson fit again, we’re really looking forward to August.”
