Villa will not be following up Dawson enquiry

According to Tribal Football, Aston Villa recently made an enquiry for Michael Dawson, but cannot afford Forest's £4 million demand. Strangely we have not heard of this anywhere else.

Surfing the net and looking for the latest Forest news I found one interesting story from Tribal Football. Apparently they cannot afford Kinnear's £4 million demand. If this is true, and they made a bid even less than that amount, then they are total idiots!

Here's the story: "Aston Villa have baulked at paying Nottingham Forest's asking price for young defender Michael Dawson.

Villa boss David O'Leary is chasing the England U21 international, but cannot afford Forest's £4 million demand.

Forest boss Joe Kinnear has repeatedly said this season that he does not want to lose Dawson over the summer."

Our verdict: Utter rubbish.
