"People have to remember that the squad we have now is not the squad which pushed for the Premiership at the end of last season.

"There are several big players who aren't with us any more, and the fact they've been allowed to leave is probably one of the reasons why we've struggled at times.

"If you lose quality players and fail to replace them how can you expect to succeed?

"Even if you're Arsenal or Manchester United you can't afford to do that, but it's what's happened at this club."

With Kinnear being a power in the transfer market though I will not be expecting this to happen again and believe Kinnear will bring more players in than he loses.
