Joe Kinnear is already working on what he wants next season...

Kinnear has told the media..

"I want to build on what we have achieved since I came to the club," said Kinnear.

"I've got eight players who are out of contract at the end of the season and will be talking to them this week. I know what I want to do with my squad."

We must sit tight and wonder how many of our "big names" will go walkies this summer, but there is no doubting that Joe will not be messed around. The sooner that next seasons squad is settled, the better our preperation for the new season will be.

Fans will not be happy with another relegation scrap next season. Kinnear has proven he can get the best out of the current crop of players. What will he achieve with a group of players he actually wants, rates and has moulded himself?

The City Ground is going to be an interesting place this summer.
