Joe Kinnear has expressed his relief at teh fact that Nottingham Forest have managed to effectively secure their First Division status. The club managed to muster out a win against the well placed Ipswich Town on Saturday and no we can look forward too and make plans for next season.

"It's mission accomplished," Kinnear said. "It was always the target to avoid the drop when I was appointed.

"We were aiming for 50 points, but found that was not enough. The goalposts change every week and it's a great relief that we've done it."
