Versatile defender, equally adept at left back or centre half, who works in the teaching profession and came through the club's youth system to eventually become first team captain.

Cult figure Brockley left the club in June 2008, joining UniBond League Division One North side Skelmersdale United after several years of sterling service at Hilton Park before later appearing for Radcliffe Borough.

After more than two years away, Brockley rejoined his hometown club on 8th September 2010 after appearing for Leigh during the pre-season campaign of the summer of 2010, with his first appearance coming a 1-0 President's Cup defeat to former club Skelmersdale United on Tuesday 21st September 2010.

Brockley made his full league debut in his second spell with the club in a 1-0 win away to Harrogate Railway Athletic on Tuesday 5th October 2010.
