Match report from Port Talbot as they defeat Haverfordwest 1-0

An average crowd of 227 saw Port Talbot dominate Haverfordwest in one of two Premier League games on Friday night. Martin Rose took the lead for the blues in the 63rd minute and the one goal seemed enough to give Port Talbot their well deserved three points. Both Drew Fahyia and Neil Thomas had several shots on target but none materialized. The Port Talbot faithful were yet again in full voice, which is a plesean advertisement for the top flight division of Welsh Football. Haverfordwest keeper Lee Idzi gave a tremendous effort throughout the whole game to keep the blues from deep the deep west from sinking deeper in defeat. Stoppage time saw a free kick inside the area, an unusual situation but nonetheless understandable from referee Neil Morgan, the free kick however was wasted and Port Talbot continued to sit on their one goal lead to eventually seal three points and a well deserved victory.
