Deservedly Welsh league championn ENTO Aberaman have been denied promotion to the Welsh Premier League on appeal thus reprieving 17th placed Caersws for the 2nd season running.

An official statement from www.welshpremier.com stated "At a hearing held in Cardiff on Thursday, the appeal of Welsh Football League Champions, ENTO Aberaman Athletic against the Principality Building Society Welsh Premier League's decision not to admit the club to the League for Season 2009/2010 was dismissed. The grounds will be published at a later date.
The club do have the right to further appeal."

w-p.org.uk says this is a kick in the teeth for seemingly progressive teams like ENTO who really want to progress when there are teams like Goytre who have been successful but keep refusing to go up, Caersws getting reprieved for a 2nd season running when they are clearly not good enough and Technogroup Welshpool who'se stadium is still not forthcoming and current facilities are inadequate. (No disrespect intended to the clubs mentioned)

I thought they would have won their appeal!! They couldn't install their floodlights until the end of the season due to pitch access. Rearranged games and a neutral cup final didn't help.

It's not all doom and gloom mate. Unless Tomi Morgan can pull out some kind of miracle, you stand a better chance than us (Porthmadog) of being in the Super 12!

With the spend today, think about tomorrow when it comes mentality at some clubs you're better off out of it for the time being. You can join in a year's time when the dust has settled and the proverbial has hit the fan at some clubs. Barry Town, Conwy United anyone?
