NEWI Cefn Druids followed up their 6-0 thrashing of Connah's Quay on Friday with a narrow 1-0 victory over Bangor City tonight, which virtually ensures their Welsh Premier safety for another season.

In a game of few chances, in-form winger, Kevin Holsgrove, scored the decisive goal early in the 2nd half.

The win moves the Ancients 7 points clear of the drop zone with just 4 games remaining.
