Rhyl go 4 points clear after Jamie Reed fires them to a 1-0 win over Aber at Park Avenue. Elsewhere Carmarthens 3-1 victory over Bangor in the race to be "the best of the rest" w, Llanelli have Andy Legg to thank for a late equaliser at home to Druids. There were wins for Gap Connahs Quay, Harrywest, Newton and Neath. CPD Porthmadog came within 4 minutes of defeating The New Saints

Llanelli 1-1 Newi Cefn Druids
NEWI Cefn Druids were denied another excellent away-day victory when veteran Andy Legg rescued a point for Llanelli, two minutes into injury time at Stebonheath. The Druids, who have already beaten Rhyl on the road this Season, were given the lead on 31 minutes after Mark Stewart struck for the strugglers. The Ancients seemed to be on course for their sixth win of the campaign until the ex-Wales International equalised.

Carmarthen 3-1 Bangor
Carmarthen leap-frogged Bangor in the race for 4th place at Richmond Park. Man of the Moment Chris Sharp put the visitors ahead on 15 minutes before being red-carded by Referee Darren Adie on the half-hour mark for a rash challenge, in which he sustained a broken arm. He sneaked in at the far post from a Christian Seargent free-kick for his 27th goal in all competitions this year, but his day was ruined when he lunged two footed into Richard Hughes, for which he came out second-best.

Town skipper Nathan Cotterall then missed a penalty for the Old Gold after Peter Hoy fouled Stuart Roberts, but Nicky Palmer headed in from a Cotterall free-kick and Craig Hughes scored twice to seal the win for Carmarthen in a 10-minute second half spell.

GAP Connah's Quay 1-0 Caersws
Liam Loughlin's 12th minute goal was enough to seal the win for Connah's Quay.

Haverfordwest 3-1 Technogroup Welshpool
Neil Thomas and Jack Christopher set Haverfordwest on their way to victory. Debutant Martin McCubbin did pull one back for the visitors but Neil Woodrow make the win safe on 54 minutes.

Newtown 1-0 Port Talbot
Craig Hutchinson struck in the 25th minute as Newtown collected the points over Port Talbot, which ended Mark Jones' unbeaten spell in charge of the Citizens.

Neath 3-1 Airbus
Neath claimed a vital win as they look to preserve their Welsh Premier status. Stephen Pockett put them ahead from the spot on the stroke of half time, but Matthew Cook levelled for Airbus. But Kerry Morgan and a last-minute goal from Dale Evans secured the win.

Caernarfon 1-1 Prestatyn
Struggling Caernarfon slipped further behind in the battle to beat the drop after Ged Courtney's opener was cancelled out by Russ Jones.

Sundays Game

Aberystwyth Town 0-1 Rhyl FC

Jamie Reed returned to Park Avenue for the first time since leaving the Seasiders thirteen months ago and he was the Rhyl hero with the only goal of the game. The striker enjoyed a successful four-month loan spell with the Seasiders last Season and even captained Aber in his final appearance for the club, but there was no room for sentiment on Sunday afternoon as the Lilywhites extended their lead at the top.

The result rounded-off another great weekend for the Lilywhites, which saw Title Rivals Llanelli only draw at home to NEWI Cefn Druids and TNS draw at Porthmadog and Alun Bickerstaff's side are now four points clear at the Top of the Table.

CPD Porthmadog 2-2 The New Saints

Porthmadog threw away a two-goal advantage against TNS to claim a first point under new Manager Tomi Morgan at Y Traeth. The much-travelled Boss in his first game in charge at home, got off to a flying start as it took his side just three minutes to open their account with John Rowley netting. Referee Lee James then awarded the hosts a penalty, which veteran Mike Foster duly converted.

The Saints were then thankful to two recent signings from Wrexham who brought them level in the Second-Half. They were initially given hope when Connall Murtagh opened his account for the club on 63 minutes, as he beat debutant teenage 'keeper Liam Shanahan. Then, with just six minutes left, Wales International Steve Evans scored his first goal, since returning to the Saints on Transfer Deadline Day.
