League unveil JT Hughes Mitsubishi as new Sponsors

The League of Wales has announced JT Hughes Mitsubishi as the league's new sponsors. The League will now be known as 'The Welsh Premier Sponsored By J.T. Hughes/Mitsubishi' At a Press Conference held this morning The Football League of Wales announced a one-year sponsorship package with J T Hughes Mitsubishi of Newtown and Telford.

The agreement will involve J. T. Hughes and Mitsubishi making a substantial six-figure contribution in Cash and Cars to the League.

In addition registered players, referees and assistant referees will be able to purchase Mitsubishi vehicles at significant advantageous price. The package in its entirety will result in the League accruing benefits, which will far exceed any previous sponsorships, received since the Competition's inception in 1992.

As a result of this agreement, the Football League of Wales will be henceforth be known as the:

League of Wales Secretary, John Deakin in welcoming the agreement said, "I am absolutely delighted that the League has reached an agreement with J.T. Hughes and Mitsubishi Motors. Deakin continued, "I feel confident that working alongside J.T. Hughes and Mitsubishi Motors over this coming Season will bring tremendous strength, benefit and a quality to the Welsh Premier Clubs that will help us build on the progress that the Competition has made over the past ten years.

John Hughes, managing director of J.T. Hughes said "It is an exciting time for my company and I am confident that, with the help of Mitsubishi Motors, we will be able to add value to the Welsh Premier and through the association with the Clubs continue to build-up the name of Mitsubishi as the leading car manufacturer in Wales."

Alan McDonald Dealer Marketing Manager of Mitsubishi Motors, commented "We are delighted to be giving our support to J.T. Hughes and the Welsh Premier for this venture. We have been a supplier to J.T Hughes for seven years and have enjoyed continued growth during this time - it is our belief, that during this sponsorship year we will help to further promote the Welsh Premier and as a company enjoy the success of Football in Wales."

John Deakin wished to add a special thank you on behalf of the Board of Directors to Mike Harris, Managing Director of Total Network Solutions for his efforts in negotiating and securing this lucrative and innovative sponsorship on behalf of the Premier.
