I like Levy for his common sense. He didn't pick a coach / manager based on his strongest quality being his predecessor's biggest fault - as we have always done. He picked a coach based on sound talent, reputation and recommendations from some of football's most knowledgeable people. He recognised he's not a sound judge of footballing talent, but sought people who were (Trappatoni, Arnesen, etc). It wasn't just the fans who wanted a big name last season, the club needed it to reassert itself and Levy needed it to show his intentions to the League.

I like his transfer policy - buy young talented players who won't lose their value and therefore we avoid p*ssing £20m a season down the drain. I think he's the best Chairman to take us forward in the long run, can't see anyone one else doing a better job....apart from the Russian, if he sticks around.

Yes it is a difficult job - which is why we have dont have different teams lookin to win the title each season, its been doninated by two maybe three - if it was easy then teams like Palace could be top. Could the domination of Woolwich and ManUSA be really attributed to their respective Club Chairmen or the football managers? I'd say the latter for both. Was the Chairman of either club particularly enlightened to choose either manager?

Everyone knows Ferguson was no more than a couple of games from being sacked. As for Paedo Pete down the road, he'd done pretty good at Monaco but wasn't he in Japan when they brought him in? A couple of wrong digits and they would've ended up with Ossie.

I think there's some spectacularly bad people controlling football clubs, Sugar's the face we all pin to dartboards, but lets not forget it was Irving Scholar who got us into to all this sh*t in the first place. That's the guy I'd lynch.....first.
