Within the last couple of days morale amongst Spurs fans seems to have plummeted to an all time low. The appointment of Jose Mourinho to Chelsea and the impending appointment of Benitez to Liverpool has brought out all kinds of bad press and ill feeling among supporters.
Now all corners of the footballing world (mainly the media as usual) have tried to exacerbate an already fragile situation by showing us in the worst possible light.
Big club or not the fact our business dealings create so much attention has a real detrimental effect on the way we operate.
It is about time the management acted to help rectify this problem and try to appease us fans by communicating with us, after all communication is the key to successful management.
Therefore it is about time Levy et all come out and either admit we are still looking to fill the vacant managers job or admit that will have to wait until certain football competitions end before targeting our preferred manager.
…However I would like to know why we have NOT approached Mancini to be our new manager. He has the ability and nous to really do well at this club and would certainly be a name that would get the thumbs up from the majority of supporters. I also believe he would fit in well with the clubs “forward thinking policies” and “Continental set-up”.
So maybe for once the media can actually help this club (and the fans) by allowing us an opportunity to get the right person for the job.
