Spurs are said to be renewing their interest in former Blackburn target man Marcus Bent. Towards the end of last season Glenn Hoddle admitted hes one of many players who he is 'monitoring' Spurs are said to be renewing their interest in former Blackburn target man Marcus Bent.

Towards the end of last season Glenn Hoddle admitted hes one of many players who he is 'monitoring' and it is said he would like to start talks with Ipswich about a possible deal when the transfer window re-opens.

Spurs have already forked out 7million on Robbie Keane this season but, with Teddy Sheringham and Les Ferdinand nearing the ends of thier careers and Sergei Rebrov set to leave, the attacking options are somewhat limited for Hoddle.
